Clear Coat

Decorative clear coats are used over natural and stained woods, art work and faux on both interiors and exteriors. Coats of clear product are used to enhance the natural beauty of raw and stained wood as well as change sheen from very shiny high gloss to the dullest dead flat and any where between. Selection and use of the appropriate sheen for each particular application is important because the amount of glare can change the appearance of wood and art. Dramatic effects can be achieved by mixing or combining clear coats of different sheens. Some clear coat products are made for exterior use while others will not hold up to intense ultra violet light exposure.
