We pride ourselves in making our community more attractive. This project is one of many that we have completed that makes our community look better.  While the winds of two hurricanes battered the islands, the painters at JGP were preparing and painting the Visitor Center maintained by the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce.

First: in the weeks immediately following Hurricane Charlie we were on the job at the visitor welcome center doing a major face lift/paint project.  Utilizing  gasoline generators to provide power, we made a dramatic color change to the facility, introducing a new and exciting group of vibrant island colors.

In the days immediately following Hurricane Wilma in September of 2005 we again made use of gasoline generators to provide power  while we painted and decorated the interior of the visitor welcome center, including the public areas as well as the interior offices. The timing of Wilma couldn’t have been better for us. We were scheduled to work at night and around the functioning busy (very) visitor center hours. With the storm approaching the center shut down allowing us to work during the day. Silver lining?
